As the cold weather continues, and I often find myself under the covers with the cat and the propane furnace on, I organize myself and lesson plans. Since my site mate left last month, I have picked up more classes and my schedule is virtually full. I am enjoying things and as I am feeling more settled, realizing that time is passing quickly with 6 more months left. Yoga classes are full with anywhere from 10-40+ mostly intermediate, conversational English classes with lovely students and aerobics classes. The classrooms are very cold with condensation on the walls and mirrors of the gym. I am eagerly training for the upcoming marathon and pacing myself with juggling all these responsibilities. Mostly, I am still enjoying all the experiences in front of me and looking forward to warmer weather.

Another L3id Kbir which follows Ramadan, but this time in the city. It was all very special to spend it with Mounaim's family. We ate sheep for days, watched television, played games, talked, walked, made tea and bread. A lovely break from the everyday living routine. I always feel good when I participate and learn new traditions. It's this very thing which I know I will preciously take back with me to share and remember stateside.'Washr Mbruka Saida L3id Kbir'.
