I made a quick trip to Marrakech to meet friends for time away and then went to Tauama, a village 3 hours from mine. I helped my Peace Corps friend work with the Women's Association sewing stuffed animals and making patterns for the pre-school children as well as conducting an a environment drawing project/Garden. It was a great success. After the work was done, we visited her local suq, where I purchased 2 new large colored rugs to add to my collection. In between spending time with my host family who is getting ready for 'L3id Kbir', end of October (sheep sacrifice), I have been immersed in hand sewing Moroccan style shirts, making  necklaces and art photos, which has been a lot of fun. As the months go by, I am realizing that I don't have much time left in Morocco,  six or seven months. With so much coming up, teaching English, yoga, meetings and the holiday's, the time will go by fast... I am embracing each moment, keeping true to my self while soaking in my experiences fully as this time won't be repeated. The free time I have now, which is a love/hate relationship, will be looked upon as a blessing upon my return to the fast paced life back in America.
